“Shazam 2:Fury of the Gods” 2023- Trailer, Release Date, Cast
Shazam! Fury of the Gods is the second installment of the action/fantasy superhero film series, tentatively being released on 17th March 2023. The Zachary Levi starrer movie, who is playing the role of a teenager Billy Batson, is directed by the famous director David Sandberg, in association with DC Studios and The Safran Company.
Promotions were actively done at the 2020 DC FanDome events and also at the San Diego Comic-Con International (SDCC) 2022. The prequel of this film received many critical reviews, but sat amazingly well with the audience, collecting a worldwide total of about $366 million. Now as far as the future scope is concerned, the movie stands to do well, along with developing an interesting turn for the DCEU.
The first movie Shazam! was released in 2019. The most exciting report on the news is that Gal Gadot will be making a special cameo appearance. How crazy is that?

Shazam! Fury of the Gods is all set to release on 17th March 2023 in the US. It was first scheduled to release on April 1st 2022. Then, it was postponed to 4th November 2022, and again, due to COVID-19 to June 2, 2023. Now, due to the release of DC’s another superhero movie Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, it was reverted to December 21. But finally, it is decided. 17th March 2023 is the final date.

The first teaser was posted on 17th October 2022 on ONE Media on YouTube. The official trailer of the movie was released on YouTube on 23rd July 2022 on the Warner Bros Pictures channel. It got more than 16 million views in under 3 months.
The trailer reveals the whole team a bit grown up, with the opening scene with Billy at a pediatrician, opening up about himself. He is shown in the superhero adult form, doubting his actions as compared to Superman, Batman, Flash, and others. The trailer also shows who he and his family are up against this time – The Daughters of Atlas.

“Shazam 2: Fury of the Gods” 2023 Storyline:
Shazam and his family must battle against the villainous Hespera & Kalypso, the daughters of Atlas, the Greek god. This is all that has been revealed. But there has been a slight disagreement clearly visible since Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who was recently in the news for playing the role of Black Adam for DC Entertainment, has refused to make even a cameo appearance in Shazam! 2. DC had plans to disclose Black Adam as an opponent for Shazam but by 2017, it was decided that the character would have its own movie. He himself divulged that it was completely his decision to separate the Black Adam from Shazam.
