The plot of “Slumberland”

In the movie “Slumberland” Nemo, is an eleven-years old girl who is traveling through dreams in the search of her missing father. While living with her father, he always tells bedtime stories on Slumberland, the fantasy world of dreams and nightmares. Then her father was lost in the sea and died. So, she was taken by her boring uncle Philip. Later she finds a secret map of the dreamland. When she woke up, she finds herself in a mysterious place and not in her room.

In that place, she meets with a half-human and half-beast beast tall Creature Flip (which is portrayed by Jason Mamoa). Flip told her that he was an acquaintance of her father and wanted to travel to Slumberland with her. Nemo and Flip become close friends and decide to travel to Slumberland together to find Nemo’s father there. In that dreamland, they meet new people and new friends. That mysterious fantasy place can fulfill anything one wishes but in return, they have to cross paths between the nightmares.

Is she finding her father and reuniting with him? We have to wait for the movie’s release to find out about that. In my personal opinion, I wish that she will find her father and reunites with him. In this movie, Jason Momoa surprised the viewers by portraying the role of a fantasy character. Jason always gives the bad boy vibe, and we can see that in his previous roles. The King of the Ocean turns into seven feet Tall Creature with two horns on the head and a balloon stomach. This new transformation also looks adorable on him. Viewers will be going to love his new choice of role as Flip.

If this movie inspired you, get ready to dive into the world of dreams, Slumberland with Nemo and Flip at Netflix on November 18, 2022.
