‘Thaggede Le’ Plot:
Eshwar (Naveen Chandra) who happens to be a software engineer, meets a girl named Liza (Ananya Raj) at some gathering. He falls for her in a very short period of time & they both get involved in a physical relationship for some time. Eshwar wants to take this affair seriously and get married to Liza but she dumps him and moves away.
By and by, Eshwar gets married to another girl named Devi (Divya Pillai) and starts to lead a new life with her. But as they say, nothing truly is over. Things change and his life becomes complicated when Liza (Ananya) comes back to Eshwar and creates obstacles in his happily married life. The rest of the story continues blandly to show how Eshwar manages this sticky and embarrassing problem.
In the meantime, a drug lord gets arrested, and Eshwar is brought in by the police for interrogation, suspecting him to be a member of the cartel. The other members of the gang escape. Srinivasa sir has somehow tried to connect these two stories, very poorly though.
‘Thaggede Le’ Critical review:
Director Srinivasa Raju has devised a storyline that looks intriguing on paper, but the execution through a director’s eye failed to bring the same plot to life. They did not succeed in impressing the audience, most probably due to the absence of the wow factor.
One of the highlights of the film includes the way the filming has been executed. The music aspect, given by Charan Arjun, was pretty decent. But appreciably, the background music provided for the whole theme of the film was much better. The dialogue delivery could have been more powerful. As far as the production and design are concerned, not much can be said given the fact that the budget for the film was low.
Overall, a pretty basic production, that cannot be expected to blow up, despite the putting sincere efforts. CineJosh has rated the movie a very bad rating of 1 out of 5, and another website has reviewed it 4 out of 10.
