‘The Wedding Singer’ is a 1998 film, made in the USA, of the romantic comedy genre, directed by Frank Coraci. The budget of the film is $18 million dollars. The plot revolves around a wedding singer, as the title states, named Robbie Hart, from New Jersey, who is about to get married to his girlfriend Linda.

‘The Wedding Singer’ Musical Remake: 

‘The Wedding Singer’ was remade into a musical that was released on Broadway in 2006, with Stephen Lynch instead of Adam Sandler as Robbie Hart in the lead role with Laura Benanti as Julia Sullivan in place of Drew Barrymore. It was nominated for five Tony Awards and eight times for Drama Desk Awards. It gained spectacular reviews, with music provided by Matthew Sklar and lyrics by Chad Beguelin. It has two acts and has been performed in the United States of America and the United Kingdom. There are also some other versions such as the Philippine, the Japanese, and the South Australian rendition as well.
