Former NFL offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth tweeted Friday that he's back in 

Cincinnati for the first time since he left the Bengals for the Rams before the 2017 season,

and he's excited to see his former team's family and fans.  

Whitworth's wife, Melissa, quote tweeted her husband, adding that she was jealous over his return to the Queen City, 

where she added that "the food scene … is LEGIT." 

Andrew, who announced his retirement in March after 16 NFL seasons - including 11 with the Bengals 

confirmed in June that he joined Amazon Prime Video's "Thursday Night Football" coverage. 

Former Bengals offensive lineman Willie Anderson announced in July that Whitworth will be at the Sept.  

29 game against the Miami Dolphins at Paycor Stadium, when Anderson  

and Isaac Curtis are scheduled to be inducted into the team's Ring of Honor.
