The Chicago Bears will host the San Francisco 49ers in their season opener on Sunday
and there are plenty of changes on defense heading into the 2022 season.
The Bears defense have made the transition to a 4-3 scheme under head coach Matt Eberflu
and they’ve also welcomed in some new faces
to the fold in Al-Quadin Muhammad
Nicholas Morrow and rookies Kyler Gordon and Jaquan Brisker.
With the season opener just a few days away
we’re taking a crack at projecting Chicago’s starting defense.
Note: Our projections include nickel cornerback
which is why there are 12 players listed.
